Nadia Di Donato
Vice President / Creative Director

Nadia Di Donato has been part of the Liberty Entertainment Group organization since its inception in 1987. Since then, Ms. Di Donato has worked closely with its developers in creating the individually unique design approaches for each of the Liberty Group venues. Formally trained in visual communications at Ryerson Polytechnic University and as a result of the many years of involvement with the Liberty Group, Ms. Di Donato is able to create synergy between form and function. With particular attention to detail, she has established the Liberty Entertainment Group facilities as the most creatively themed venues in the city.

Nadia Di Donato has played an integral role in Liberty Entertainment Group’s portfolio of venues with her unique and innovative approach to design. Nadia’s vision is to create synergy between form and function. She is versatile in her execution combining natural elements with artistry. With particular attention to detail, she has established the Liberty Entertainment Group facilities as the most creatively themed venues in the cities of Toronto and Miami. Recognized as one of the most creative designers in the industry, her impressive roster of properties has garnered her international accolades for her showstopping work.
 
Nadia was nominated as designer of the year 2023 by UK’s design et al, International Hotel & Property Awards and has received numerous awards and accolades from the prestigious award program:

From an early age Pat Di Donato immediately began to set his goals towards the hospitality industry. As an honours graduate in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Mr. Di Donato brings over 30 years of hospitality experience to the Liberty Entertainment Group. As a co-founder of the company, Mr. Di Donato is a dynamic member of the ever-expanding team and continues to successfully develop and manage the food and hospitality aspect of the business.

Luca Di Donato
Vice President & Legal Counsel

Luca Di Donato brings a dynamic blend of legal expertise, entrepreneurial spirit, and strategic vision to his role as Vice President & Legal Counsel at Liberty Entertainment Group. With a career spanning law, hospitality, and business, Luca plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth and operational success.

Prior to joining Liberty, Luca spent six years as a commercial real estate specialist at one of Canada’s leading corporate law firms, where he earned a reputation for delivering innovative solutions to complex legal and business challenges. His legal acumen is complemented by a deep-rooted background in hospitality, being a partner in several of Toronto’s most iconic nightlife venues and the founder of a premier marketing and promotions firm that helped define the city’s entertainment landscape.

Michael Ewing
Executive Corporate Chef
Vice President of Operations

Michael Ewing, a twenty-five year veteran of the culinary art industry, began a classical apprenticeship at Westin Hotels at the tender age of 15. Working throughout the city in many of Toronto’s top restaurants and catering companies, Mr. Ewing draws upon his many years of culinary expertise and artistry for his role of Executive Corporate Chef for the Liberty Entertainment Group. Mr. Ewing oversees food preparation and presentation for over four hundred events annually and manages a kitchen staff of nearly three hundred.
James Peden
Director of Operations

James Peden is the Director of Operations at Liberty Entertainment Group, bringing over 20 years of experience in hospitality and fine dining to one of Canada’s most distinguished hospitality brands.

James joined Liberty Entertainment Group in 2019 as Wine Director, where his expertise as an Advanced Sommelier and former President of the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers played a key role in elevating the company’s wine programs. During his tenure, every property within the group earned prestigious Wine Spectator awards — a testament to his deep knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence.

Sue Vivanco
Director of Sales & Catering

Sue Vivanco is a dynamic leader in luxury hospitality sales, recognized for her ability to maximize revenue while building lasting client relationships. As Director of Sales & Catering at Liberty Entertainment Group, she oversees sales strategy and client engagement across the company’s prestigious portfolio of venues and restaurants, including the iconic Casa Loma, the historic Liberty Grand, the acclaimed BlueBlood Steakhouse, and Michelin-starred destinations Don Alfonso 1890 and DaNico.

Fluent in both English and Spanish, Sue combines strategic vision with a client-focused, collaborative approach. Her leadership emphasizes innovation and service excellence, ensuring every event and guest experience reflects the highest standards of luxury.
